Privacy Policy

Who We Are

This is the website of AfricanMedia. We run a business strategy engine at africanmedia.co.za. We respect your right to privacy.

By using this website, you accept this Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree with or aren’t comfortable with any part of it, don’t use the site.

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Each visit binds you to the current version.

Privacy & Data Protection

We collect your personal data when you book. Any data you submit is handled in accordance with the GDPR and the Data Protection Acts 1988–2018. We don’t sell or distribute your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. That’s not our business model.

Data We Collect

Web Browsing

We receive statistical data from our hosting provider – IP address, browser type, domain, timestamps, and referring URLs. We may also use session cookies to track which pages you’ve visited. This helps us improve the site and diagnose issues. We don’t pretend to fully understand how it works, but it’s standard.

Contacting Us

If you email us or use the contact form, we collect the data you provide – name, email, phone, message. We use it only to respond to your query or handle your request.

Making Purchases

If you make a purchase, we collect payment data, name, and delivery details via Stripe or any other processor we choose. This is used to fulfill your order and send confirmation.

Registering for an Account

If you become a partner, we offer account registration, we’ll collect your name, email, phone, and password. You use that to log into the Partner Portal.

Children’s Personal Data

We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 16. If we do, and it’s without parental consent, we’ll delete it as soon as possible.

Your Rights

You have rights under GDPR. These include:

  • Access: Request a copy of your data
  • Rectification: Correct errors in your data
  • Erasure: Ask us to delete your data
  • Restriction: Ask us to stop processing for specific purposes
  • Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Withdraw Consent: At any time, for any consent-based processing
  • Complain: To the Greek Data Protection Commission or through the courts (though we doubt it’ll come to that)

We respond to valid written requests within 30 calendar days. Send them to:

Sharing Your Data

We don’t share your data unless it’s necessary. That includes:

  • Service Providers: Software, payment processors, marketing platforms
  • Legal Advisors: If you breach our Terms
  • Consent-Based Sharing: Only if you’ve agreed
  • Business Transfers: If our company or assets are acquired
  • Legal & Safety: If required by law or to protect rights and safety

Where We Store Data

We store data on servers inside the EEA. If we transfer data outside the EEA, we do so legally and with appropriate safeguards.

Data Retention

We retain personal data based on contractual obligations. We don’t keep it longer than necessary and review records annually.

Security

We take security seriously. Physical and technical measures are in place, and our policy is reviewed regularly.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by Greek and South African law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Greek and South African courts.

General

Delay or failure to enforce rights doesn’t waive them. If any part of this policy is invalid, the rest remains enforceable.

This policy governs online data processing. Offline activities are covered by our Data Protection Policy, available on request or during your first clinic visit.

why we exist

to build well

we care about clarity, structure, and things that work. no hype, no noise, no shortcuts. every project deserves clean thinking and solid execution. we focus on what matters: purpose, function, and results. if you want something built properly – website or business – that’s what we’re here for.

African Media Logo

how we operate

with intention

we keep the process clear, steady, and practical. no drama, no confusion, no wasted effort. we work with people who value straight communication and real outcomes. you bring the goal, we build the system around it – fast, clean, and aligned with what you actually need. no mess. no fuss.

why we exist

to be a thorn. not a balm.

we built african media to jam the gears of a system engineered to dumb down and reward dullness, delay, and delusion. we don’t entertain “dreams”. we don’t do “potential”, we do proof. we don’t do “belief”. if you’re here to be coddled, bounce. if you want to build, book.

how we operate

we don’t run a filter, not a business.

every pitch product is a test: yours. every booking is a gate. we don’t chase founders – we let you self-select. we don’t want “clients”. we don’t do “mentorship”.  if you need a “mama”, this isn’t your funnel. if you show up clean, ready, and real: welcome.
